Mother Nature at Museum Cobra

Mother nature

It's crazy. And strange. And strange. And what you say as a conditioned rational modern person: this doesn't make sense. And that's the point. That sometimes you don't know what something makes sense. Whether it means something or not. And that you let go of reason like a feather from your quilted jacket. To flutter to the abyss, the beginning of something new.

And that you let yourself be absorbed in what you see and hear and therefore also feel.

Not feeling something that your own thoughts produce. Or what a screen penetrates you. But in a set up space to let you experience something different as a human being.

That you then adjust your thinking from how? To why. What did the artist do? Why three rows of misshapen glass blocks and not 4? Do I feel a closed construction? Do I feel gloom? What associations do I have with this image? What do you think of? Because looking at art together is the most fun. Laughing is allowed. Really. Because a work of art is only a work of art when you look at it.

And this garden full of insane wonders. You can just look at it. And of course you take off your shoes. Because that's what you would have done as a child.

I was with my daughter (9 and 12) and friend (10) at Museum Cobra on Sunday November 10th and I thought it was spectacular!!!
