"I get my inspiration from my childhood full of SuperNintendo, SEGA, comic books and cartoons. I mix it with my fascination with advertising and pop culture images. With, of course, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Roy Liechtenstein as the ultimate example in the art world. But currently mainly from graffiti and Instagram. Mr. CA$H is of course slightly ironic because of the mash up of existing 'art' elements and my view of the art world. The ultimate irony of art is that it is a personal expression but always comes with a certain monetary value. Hence, Mr. CA$H ironically addresses these hysterical prices of some works of art and its own price."
